This Sierra Manroot is also called Sierra wild cucumber. It grows in the foothills and is endemic to California, and California only. The plant is dramatic, though overly dominant sometimes, growing from an underground tuber and producing a spread-out display of large deeply lobed leaves with these fruits scattered among them.
